Today, we're wrapping up Novel Pairings with one last main feed episode: a heartfelt and joyful farewell Q&A session. In this episode, we reflect on our podcasting journey, share behind-the-scenes stories, and chat about all things literary—one more time for Novel Pairings listeners.
Thank you for being part of this chapter with us. We’re so grateful to have had you along on this journey.
In this newsletter, you will find important updates and information, like where to find us post-Novel Pairings, how to listen to our episodes now that we are done publishing, and what we are doing with all of our backlist Patreon content!
Our most frequently asked question
“Where can we find you and what are you working on after Novel Pairings?”
In this episode, we talk about our upcoming projects and our hopes for future collaborations. We'll be sharing more in the coming weeks—be sure to follow us so you don’t miss a thing!

Patreon is Open for a Limited Time
We’re keeping Patreon open through August 31st, so if you’ve been meaning to catch up on our big book recaps, rewatch some of our classes, or check out bonus episodes, now’s the time! It’s all still available for just $10 a month.
We’re doing this to give our amazing community one last chance to dive into everything before we start archiving some of the content. Don’t worry — not everything is going away, but bonus episodes will be retired and no longer accessible.
A Brand New Storefront!
One of the biggest things we had to decide when closing down Novel Pairings was where our content would live. It would break our hearts to fully archive all of the classes and readalongs we shared on Patreon over the years. We want to continue our mission of public scholarship even if we aren’t recording new podcast episodes.
Enter: Gumroad, the perfect way for our content to live on! We have been working so hard behind the scenes to get this storefront set up (a HUGE thank you to our assistant Kristine for all of the hours she’s spent on this with us), and it is finally ready for you.
We combined our classes into four bundles, and we have three full recap bundles for you, too. We will feature these bundles in the newsletter over the summer, but for now, check out the site!
To be clear: this is the same content that is currently on Patreon. If you are paying for a Patreon subscription, there is no need to additionally purchase from Gumroad unless you want to keep the content after Patreon closes down. Patreon members will get a discount code for future use.
Products listed on Gumroad are yours to download and keep. Our greatest hope is for teachers, book clubs, and individual learners to purchase these bundles and enjoy their own self-paced, collegiate level courses and readalongs. Here is a preview of the content available.
The Ultimate Literature Scholar Bundle: 15 classes to help you sharpen your scholarly reading skills.
The Literary Lenses Bundle: 7 classes to teach you how to read with critical lenses like Feminist Theory, Psychoanalytic Theory, and New Historicism.
The Literary History Bundle: 6 classes on various literary movements and historical time periods to boost your background knowledge while reading classic literature.
The Close Reading Bundle: 4 core classes to engage your deep reading skills.
Recap Bundles: 2 classes, plus every recap episode to guide you through The Odyssey, The Custom of the Country, and Les Miserables.
We'll be back soon to share more about our Gumroad storefront and our personal projects. Until then, we declare after all, there is no enjoyment like reading. How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book!
Thank you for supporting the podcast and our work to make public scholarship fun and accessible.
