New Episode! A Chat with The Incessant Bookworm
Plus extensive reading recommendations for fall and why to try a reading challenge
Hey, listeners!
Michelle here:) This week Chelsey and Sara are welcoming Courtney Wallace onto the podcast. You may know Courtney (a.k.a. The Incessant Bookworm) from her YouTube, Instagram, and blog where she gives her followers a look into her prolific reading life. On tomorrow’s episode, Courtney talks all about her reading challenges and gives a myriad of book recommendations for every type of fall mood. This episode definitely toppled my TBR stack (but what else is new?) and I have been loving diving into The Incessant Bookworm’s bookish YouTube videos! Chelsey and Sara had such a good time talking with Courtney and I can say that this is one of the most fun episodes to listen to yet!

Coming up:
Next week Sara and Chelsey will be discussing Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None. This short, classic mystery is the perfect spooky season read, so it’s a great idea to pick it up before next Tuesday. You won’t want to miss the first-ever mystery episode of Novel Pairings!
On the 10th, there will be another “first-ever” with Novel Pairings’ inaugural gift guide episode! In preparation for the holidays, this episode will be coming to you complete with book recommendations and bookish gift ideas for all the readers in your life.
Currently Reading:
This month, the best book I read was Anxious People by Fredrik Backman. This part-comedy, part-mystery novel was so well-crafted. I loved the way Backman intertwined the stories of many vastly different characters. This was my first Backman book and I can’t wait to read more from him!
Now, I’m in the middle of Recommended For You by Laura Silverman. Chelsey recommended this one in the Fall 2020 Anticipated Reads episode and it is not disappointing me! When Chelsey described it as reminiscent of one of my favorite movies, You’ve Got Mail, I knew it would be right up my alley. This quick read about a bookstore romance is really hitting the spot.
