Hey, listeners!
In case you missed it, yesterday we aired our discussion on chapters 27 through the end of Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë. We cover Jane’s coming of age journey, the juxtaposition of Rochester and another romantic interest, the ending (of course), and whether or not we think this qualifies as a “feminist text.” Plus, we offer six pairings that touch on the tone, themes, and legacy of Brontë’s iconic novel. We think you’ll be shocked by one of Sara’s pairings and can’t wait to hear your reactions.
This episode does include spoilers, but you can still choose your own adventure and listen (or skip to the pairings) before, during, or after you read Jane Eyre. Listen to the episode in your favorite podcast app (don’t forget to rate and subscribe!).
