A Wrinkle in Time
"'Stay angry, little Meg,' Mrs Whatsit whispered. 'You will need all your anger now.'"
Today we release our next installment of classic children’s literature conversations, and this one features a modern classic of intergalactic proportions. A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’Engle not only expanded the industry’s understanding of children’s literature—it also provided a standard for fantasy novels (YA and adult) to come. While we both found our rereads to be a bit detached this time around, we did love getting together to discuss the nature of time, the importance of L’Engle’s legacy, and how children see and understand the world differently from adults.
Here are a few links on A Wrinkle in Time, L’Engle, and time itself to explore:

I need to re-read A Wrinkle in Time. It was one of those books that blew my mind as a young child. I started to watch the movie as an adult and it just wasn't at all how I pictured the setting!
I finally finished my re-read this morning and plan to listen to the episode today-- super fun to explore these extra resources!
